This blog is dedicated to the literary works of Franz Kafka. In his short career of about ten years, Franz Kafka published only a handful of the many stories he had written. Before he died, he asked that his remaining manuscripts be destroyed. Fortunately, his work was saved, and today, acknowledged as having more influence on modern literature than perhaps any other European writer, Kafka enjoys a posthumous success far greater than any he had ever dreamed of.
